Anike Depression Care Foundation is dedicated to restoring hope, protecting human dignity, and improving mental and physical wellbeing by supporting vulnerable individuals and families affected by illness, depression, and medical poverty. We pursue this mission by promoting awareness and support for mental health, preventing the devastating social impact of untreated illness, supporting community initiatives that make healthcare more accessible, and creating pathways for individuals in despair to rediscover purpose, stability, and hope.

From the Founder
Welcome to Anike Depression Care Foundation. This foundation was born out of a deep awareness of the silent struggles many people face when illness, loss, or financial hardship suddenly disrupts their lives. In many communities, one medical crisis can destroy the stability of an entire family. When the breadwinner falls ill and treatment becomes unaffordable, the consequences ripple through generations — children drop out of school, mental health deteriorates, and hope fades. We believe this should never be the fate of any family. At Anike Depression Care Foundation, our mission is to restore hope, protect dignity, and strengthen communities so that individuals facing difficult moments are not abandoned to despair. We are especially committed to ensuring that people can rebuild their lives without losing their sense of dignity or being forced into a life of begging or dependency. Our work is guided by a simple belief: Every human life has value, and every person deserves a second chance at hope. At the heart of Anike Depression Care Foundation is a guiding philosophy known as The Second Chance Movement. Life does not always follow a predictable path. Illness, loss, unemployment, and unexpected tragedies can push individuals and families into moments of deep despair. In those moments, many people feel forgotten by society and begin to lose faith in humanity itself. The Second Chance Movement exists to remind the world that no setback should define a person's entire life story. We believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to rise again after hardship — through emotional support, community assistance, and systems that prevent crises.
